BERL FALBAUM
Berl Falbaum was born in Berlin and escaped
with his parents to Shanghai in July 1939. The family immigrated to the United States in August 1948. Falbaum spent 10 years as a reporter at The Detroit News, including five covering politics; four years as administrative aide to Michigan’s lieutenant governor; and 15 years as a corporate public relations executive. Falbaum and his wife, Phyllis, live in West Bloomfield, Mich.
